Chris Robinson and Rich Robinson of The Black Crowes gathered around Bob Boilen’s desk to film an installment of NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert video series. The Robinson Brothers performed three Black Crowes classics in the just-released video from the session.
Up first was “She Talks To Angels” from the Crowes’ 1990 debut studio album, Shake Your Money Maker. Chris and Rich are currently scheduled to lead a new lineup for a world tour in celebration of Shake Your Money Maker’s 30th anniversary later this year. The vocalist then revealed his disappointment with the size of Boilen’s desk. “I thought the desk would be smaller,” Chris exclaimed ahead of “Jealous Again.” The Brothers Robinson concluded their Tiny Desk Concert session with “Wiser Time” from 1994’s Amorica.
