The National will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their High Violet studio album by reissuing the record as a triple LP vinyl package on June 19 via 4AD. Not only does the High Violet – 10th Anniversary Expanded Edition contain the original 10 tracks, the set also includes a third LP that features tracks previously unavailable on vinyl.
Highlights from the third LP include “Wake Up Your Saints,” “Walk Off,” an alternate version of “Terrible Love” and live versions of “Bloodbuzz Ohio,” “Anyone’s Ghost” and “England.” High Violet – 10th Anniversary Expanded Edition can be purchased in three different formats: Standard (white & purple marbled vinyl), Cherry Tree (white & purple split color vinyl), and Vinyl Me Please (white & purple splatter vinyl).
The National will contribute all profits from their webstore and fan club to the band’s crew. “Our crew are the lifeblood of our touring operation and have become family through the many years we’ve worked together,” wrote the members of The National in a note. “As uncertainty looms over the state of the live concert industry, we will direct all profits from merch sales through our webstore, new Cherry Tree fan club enrollments, and sales from the Cherry Tree members-only store to support our crew members throughout this crisis to the best of our ability.
