120

The New Deal canceled three shows slated for next week due to the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak. Additionally, the band announced plans to live stream two full performances next week live from an undisclosed location in their hometown of Toronto.

5 Points Music Sanctuary in Roanoke, Virginia was slated to host the band on Thursday, March 19. The New Deal was then supposed to perform in Charlotte on Friday, March 20 and Asheville on Saturday, March 21. The trio will soon reveal details of their The New Deal: Solitude March 2020 live streams.

Here’s the full statement from The New Deal:

It is with a heavy heart that TND3 announces the cancellation of shows slated for next week in Roanoke, Charlotte and Asheville.

It’s obviously not something that we planned for but as the events of the past few days unfolded we made two decisions:

The first was that we wouldn’t be able to come down from Canada and play these shows.

The second decision was that nothing can stop TND from making music.

With that in mind we announce:

THE NEW DEAL – SOLITUDE: MARCH 2020

Join us next week (dates TBA very soon) for two full TND3 live performances from an undisclosed location in Toronto, to be livestreamed in their entirety via Nugs.net.

“We feel that we owe it to everyone who has stood together with TND and also to everyone who is just beginning to experience the joyous energy that is TND3. We wouldn’t be happy if we didn’t do our best to share music with our fans the only way we know how – the New Deal Way.” -Jamie

So, join us, won’t you? Get ready for two full shows of The New Deal, live and in living livestream colour.
