Twiddle Welcomes Guests & Plays 2-Song Set In Santa Fe

120

Twiddle performed Tuesday night at Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, marking the Vermont-based band’s first show in New Mexico. The group welcomed a pair of guests and delivered a second set made up of just two songs.

“Syncopated Healing” opened Twiddle’s first set and was followed by “Every Soul.” The quartet then expanded to welcome banjo player Torrin Daniels of supporting act Kitchen Dwellers to augment “Hattibagen McRat.” Next up was “Life Back Now,” and the emergence of violinist Richard Vagner who accompanied the band on “Subconscious Prelude.” The set came to a conclusion with “Amydst Te Myst and “Slippin In The Kitchen.”

The second set began with “Orlando’s” and more than a half-hour later Twiddle transitioned into a cover of Gary Joules’ “Mad World.” Without stopping, they segued back into “Orlando’s,” which eventually closed out the set. Twiddle’s encore last night was “When It Rains it Pours.”
