Holly Bowling Performs ‘Live At Home’ On April 9: Full Set Video

147

Holly Bowling delivered a set from her living room on Thursday, April 9. The pianist debuted songs from the Grateful Dead and The National.

Bowling got her livestream underway with one of those debut’s, the Grateful Dead’s “Throwing Stones.” The song originally appears on the Dead’s penultimate studio album, 1987’s In The Dark. After a serious jam section that included some in-the-piano string manipulation, Holly seamlessly segued into Phish’s “Divided Sky” ahead of the Grateful Dead’s “Cassidy” and Phish’s “Billy Breathes.”

Bowling then kicked off a continuous section with “Bird Song” before heading into “Mercury,” which features on Phish’s recently released album Sigma Oasis, which in turn led into “Morning Dew.” Next up, Holly would debut The National’s “Afraid Of Everyone” before bookending her set with “Throwing Stones.”
