Today’s lineup for the JamBase Livestreams Calendar has many highlights. Organizers of the SweetWater 420 Fest re-air four past performances throughout the day on Sunday, Live From Out There presents a Jerry Garcia & Robert Hunter all-star tribute and that’s just the start.
While Atlanta’s SweetWater 420 Fest was supposed to take place this weekend, organizers are sharing standout performances from past festivals as part of the Stream In Place. Up first are The Motet from 2018 followed by Dark Star Orchestra’s 2017 420 Fest show. Then, last year’s Billy Strings set will be broadcast before Widespread Panic merges their Never Miss A Sunday Show series with Stream In Place for a trip back to 2017.
The Grateful Dead action for 11E1even Group & nugs.tv’s Live From Out There starts after a performance from Taj Mahal, both an aGOOSEtic set and Goose livestream replay and a set from Allen Stone. First is Dumplings With The Dead featuring Ross James and celebrity chefs joined by Phil Lesh and Bob Weir. Then, Oteil Burbridge plays a piano Garcia set for the first time. The Celebrating Jerry Garcia & Robert Hunter finale boasts an impressive lineup that includes Keller Williams, Jackie Greene, Hiss Golden Messenger, Paul Hoffman, Eric Krasno, Jennifer Hartswick & Chrew Chew, Karina Rykman, Brubridge, Chris Funk, Brock Butler and more.
There’s plenty of virtual festival and festival set replays today besides 420 Fest. Merlefest concludes a look at their 2012 event, while Pickathon shares The Lone Bellow’s 2013 appearance at the festival. Charm City Bluegrass presents: Digi-Fest, The PlayOn Fest plays on and final days of the Room Service Music Festival and Digital Hearts Digital Festival go live.
More replays are in store such as Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe’s Tipitina’s 2019 show one year after it went down, Dispatch culling their archives for a 2011 show at Boston Garden and ALO presenting their Terrapin Crossroads May 2018 show.
