Following Thursday night’s NFL draft, Shaquille O’Neil stepped into his DJ Diesel persona to host the Official NFL Draft After-Party on Instagram Live—watch highlights above and below.
The digital “Stay Strong” event, presented by top-tier NFL sponsor Oikos Triple Zero, featured star guest appearances from Rob Gronkowski, DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor, Saquon Barkely, D-Nice, Toosie, FaZe Apex, LL Cool J and Swizz Beatz. More than 400,000 viewers tuned in and were urged to donate to the Meals on Wheels COVID-19 Response Fund.
Highlights included Shaq doing the “Superman” while wearing the appropriate getup, as well as a “Toosie Slide” dance session with rapper Toosie. In typical Gronk fashion, the newly-minted Tampa Bay Buccaneer made a high-energy appearance and literally jumped for joy on a trampoline in celebration of his big move. Meanwhile, DJ Khaled and Shaq had a candid chat about fatherhood.
Newsweek notes that Oikos Triple Zero has been the official yogurt of the NFL since 2015 and was the sole sponsor of the NFL Draft Experience.
The company’s latest “Flex your Cryceps” ad, which is part of an ongoing effort to show both physical and emotional sides of athletes, features Saquon Barkley, Deshaun Watson, Dak Prescott, Juju Smith-Schuster, Golden Tate III, Jaylon Smith, Chris Jones, Drew Lock, Garett Bolles, Gerald McCoy, Jonah Williams, Marquise Brown and Rashan Gary shedding tears as just-drafted rookies.
