Phish will stream their January 15, 2017 show for Episode 7 of their Dinner And A Movie archival replay series. The concert closed out the band’s 2017 destination event in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
Phish selected Partners In Health as the beneficiary for the livestream. The non-profit organization provides healthcare assistance for poverty-stricken communities around the world. PIH launched a comprehensive relief effort in response to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. Donations to PIH can be made via Phish’s WaterWheel Foundation charity organization.
Tuesday’s livestream coincides with the Mexican holiday Cinco De Mayo. Keyboardist Page McConnell supplied the corresponding “Taco Tuesday” dinner recipes for this week’s episode. Page shared instructions for two kinds of tacos: Cauliflower Vegan Tacos with Cabbage Slaw from The Living Well without Lectins Cookbook and Ground Beef Tacos. McConnell also dropped a brief explainer about the history of Cinco De Mayo.
