The Nth Power shared pro-shot video of the band performing Nirvana songs featuring renowned saxophonist Skerik. Dubbed “Nth Utero,” the performance comes from One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans on April 28 during a late night concert coinciding with Jazz Fest 2018.
The Nth Power were actually formed during one of NOLA’s legendary Jazz Fest jams in 2012. In 2018, the collaborative quartet — guitarist Nick Cassarino, bassist Nate Edgar, drummer Nikki Glaspie and Skerik on sax — played songs from Nirvana’s 1993 album In Utero including “Scentless Apprentice” and the deep cut “Radio Friendly Unit Shifter.”
