Americana Honors & Awards Announce 2020 Nominees

Nominees for the 2020 Americana Honors & Awards have been revealed. Winners will be announced on September 16 at the 19th Annual Americana Honors & Awards ceremony, which will be held at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

Brandi Carlile is up for Artist Of The Year and has been nominated as part of supergroup The Highwomen for Album Of The Year (The Highwomen), Duo/Group Of The Year and Song Of The Year (“Crowded Table”). Plus, Carlile co-wrote Tanya Tucker‘s “Bring My Flowers Now,” which is up for Song Of The Year and co-produced Tucker’s While I’m Livin, an Album Of The Year nominee. Tucker has also been nominated as Artist Of The Year.

Brittany Howard, Nathaniel Rateliff and Drive-By Truckers scored nominations in multiple categories. Additionally, Billy Strings gets his first nomination as Emerging Act Of The Year. Strings is up against Black Pumas, Katie Pruitt, Aubrie Sellers and Kelsey Waldon.
