Bright Eyes Perform NPR Music ‘Tiny Desk (Home) Concert’

92

Bright Eyes performed a Tiny Desk (Home) Concert for NPR Music. The band remotely came together to play songs from their recently released album, Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was.

Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis recorded from ARC Studios in Omaha, Nebraska, while Nate Walcott was at Lucy’s Meat Market in Los Angeles. Walcott was joined at the recording facility by Becky Stark (Lavender Diamond) who sang while accompanied by their daughter.

The set contained the Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was tracks “Mariana Trench,” “Pan and Broom” and “Persona Non Grata.” Bright Eyes’ Tiny Desk (Home) Concert concluded with “Shell Games,” off their 2011 album, The People’s Key.
