Goose will perform a pair of socially-distanced pod concerts at South Farms in Morris, CT, the band announced on Wednesday. The shows will take place on September 16th and 17th.
Following the rising Connecticut jam band’s impending two-night run at the Yarmouth Drive-In in Massachusetts next weekend, these pod concerts will mark Goose’s second time before a live audience since March. Back in June, the group played eight sets over ten nights in the highly-innovative Bingo Tour, which featured fan interaction in the form of bingo cards sent out to the audience who closely followed which songs were selected at random from over 80 bingo balls.

South Farms will feature a grid layout where groups of two fans are allotted an 8’x8′ plot of grass from which to watch the concert. As opposed to the drive-in format, this concert will feature live PA sound, rather than audio transmitted through an FM signal into peoples’ cars. The Goose pod concerts will adhere to all CDC and Connecticut guidelines, including mask and social distancing requirements.
“We’re looking forward to playing a live show in our home state for the first time since December,” drummer Ben Atkind said in a statement. “People won’t be right up against the stage so I’m going to need everyone to bust out dance moves that are epic enough for me to see while we play.”
Tickets for the Goose pod concerts in Morris, CT go on pre-sale Wednesday at 10 am ET, with a general public on-sale beginning Friday at 10 am ET. Click here for tickets and more information.
