Myanmar reported 307 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, its highest daily toll since the start of the pandemic in March, as the country battles a second wave of infections. The health ministry did not say immediately where the new cases were found. Most recent infections have been in the commercial city Yangon and in Sittwe, capital of conflict-torn Rakhine state.
