Members of The Mother Hips, The Brothers Comatose, Midnight North and more will perform live to help raise funds for friends of Sweetwater Music Hall, Jon and Liz Payne, who recently lost their home in the Santa Cruz mountains due to the CZU Lightning Complex fires. The Payne Relief: A Fundraiser For Jon & Liz Payne benefit livestream will be hosted on Sweetwater Music Hall’s Facebook page this Sunday, September 6 starting at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.
The lineup for the livestream benefit concert also includes members of T Sisters, Goodnight Texas, San Geronimo, Big Light and Casual Coalition. Jon Payne is a staple of the Bay Area music scene and their home hosted musical gatherings ranging from house concerts to recording sessions. Plans were in place for an outdoor stage when the fire came through, leaving Jon and Liz to grab what they could before evacuating.
