The Infamous Stringdusters will team up with 60 venues and promoters for their upcoming livestreams from The Fox Theatre October 2nd–4th. The three-night run of livestreams will go to benefit many musical institutions throughout the country as the live music shutdown rages on.
A percentage of the proceeds from the virtual concerts will be sent back to the venues and promoters who engage in co-promotion efforts. Even as the band begins to return to live performances via drive-ins and livestreams, The Infamous Stringdusters acknowledge that many businesses remain closed and promoters out of work.

The virtual concert series kicks off Friday as The Infamous Stringdusters perform at the Boulder, CO venue. Dubbed “An Evening With”, the band will play a traditional two-set concert, whereas on Saturday for the “Classics and Covers” concert they will take two-set deep dive into the group’s history. On Sunday, The Infamous Stringdusters will present a special matinee “Bluegrass, Brunch & Bingo” interactive event in a game show setting, featuring high stakes prices including “guest for life.”
“When we were coming up with ideas of how to make this more of an ‘all-in’ event, the idea to involve our favorite partners, coast to coast, felt like the perfect fit,” agent for the Stringdusters Joshua Knight said in a statement. “This was ideal to reach all of our fans, but also a way to help many of our friends in the independent venue and promoter business as well.”
