The Shins released a new song, “The Great Divide.” The band also shared a “flipped” version of the track exclusively on Amazon Music.
The Shins issued an accompanying video for “The Great Divide” directed by Paul Trillo with Yuuki Matthews. The song is the first new music from the James Mercer-led group since the Richard Swift-inspired “Waimanalo” and “Trapped By The Sea” that came out last November. Remastered versions of “When I Goose-Step,” “The Gloating Sun” and “New Slang (When You Notice the Stripes)” came out last December as part of Sub Pop Records’ Singles Club.
