JamBase Launches iOS App Update

104

Attention Apple users: JamBase is pleased to share our newly redesigned JamBase iOS app that’s been overhauled from the ground up to give you the full JamBase experience directly through the app.

The new app features a streamlined design and loads of new updates, including the ability to read all of JamBase’s articles right inside the app for the first time ever and a powerful new search tool.

We’ve also added support for livestreams, and we’ve made it even easier to find concert and music festivals wherever you are.

Livestreams & Virtual Events

Spending more time at home and less time seeing shows? Now you can discover and watch livestreams directly in the app via the JamBase Livestreams Calendar.

Plus we’ve built in notifications for streams so you can set reminders and get a notification when it’s time to #GoStreamLiveMusic.

News & Articles

Find all the latest news, reviews, recaps and much more with access to all of our original reporting (along with news from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Consequence of Sound, NME, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan and more) right inside the app.

As an added bonus, the app will highlight articles for the acts you track, so be sure to follow all of your favorite artists to make sure you’re getting all the most relevant news.

Concert Listings

The “Concerts” tab provides a look at the shows in your area, with the ability to narrow it down to “My Artists” so you can find events for just the artists you follow.

There is also a “Festivals” option so you’ll be ready to go once large scale live music events return.

The listings default to upcoming events in your area but it’s fast and easy to change dates and locations, handy if you’re going to be on the road.

Your JamBase Profile

The “Profile” tab brings up your “Favorite Artists,” a list of acts you follow, and “My Calendar,” which gives a quick view of the concerts you’ve added to your calendar either on the website or via the app.

You can also update your JamBase profile and manage your subscriptions inside a new settings area.

If you haven’t registered for a JamBase account, what are you waiting for? Following your favorite artists makes it a snap to see the latest news and upcoming shows for the acts you love. Sign up for JamBase here.

Get the App & Share Your Feedback

We truly hope you like what you see with the new app, and that it helps you Go See (or Stream) Live Music in whatever form it takes, so head on over the App Store and download the new JamBase app today (note: requires iOS 12.0 or later).

Once you check it out, be sure to leave a rating and review if you like what you see.
