Kevin Morby shared video featuring a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Passing Through” he performed with Nathaniel Rateliff. Morby recently opened a series of shows for Rateliff at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.
Leonard Cohen came up with his own arrangement of the Dick Blakeslee-penned “Passing Through.” Cohen originally released his version on the 1973 live album Live Songs. Morby started covering “Passing Through” shortly after Leonard’s death in 2016. Kevin ended a recent installment of his weekly livestream series with a rendition of the tune featuring Rateliff.
