Reed Mathis and Electric Beethoven unveiled a video for Beatoven track “In Memory Of A Great Man” featuring drummer Joe Russo and Phish bassist Mike Gordon. The clip premiered during Live From Live Music’s virtual festival Democracy Comes Alive.
Mathis tapped Nick Setteducato to direct the video, as Nick revealed to JamBase in a discussion surrounding the release of the latest episode of Dr. Gordz. The “In Memory Of A Great Man” clip mixes animation and stop-motion footage created by Setteducato with clips of Mathis and Gordon filmed backstage at a 2016 Phish concert in San Francisco.
