Widespread Panic picked their October 28, 2017 concert from the Park Theater in Las Vegas for the next Never Miss A Sunday Show. The webcast airs Sunday, October 18 at 8 p.m ET/5 p.m. PT on the JamBase Livestreams Calendar.
WSP’s Saturday, October 28 show was the second of three in their 2017 Vegas Halloween weekend run. The show kicked off with “Greta” into “Little Lilly” followed by two of Panic’s classic covers in General Echo’s “Arleen” and The Band’s “Ophelia.” The first frame came to a close with “Ain’t Life Grand.”
The second set got underway with “Flat Foot Flewzy” ahead of a monster section of “Diner” > “Rebirtha” > “Christmas Katie” > “Jam” > “Good Morning Little Schoolgirl” and “Aunt Avis.” Next up was a cover of The Rolling Stones’ “You Can’t Always Get What” and the crowd favorite “Coconut.” The band brought the second set to a close with the debut of Tom Petty’s “Honey Bee,” which led into Funkadelic’s “Red Hot Mama.” WSP would encore with “End Of The Show” and “Bowlegged Woman.”
