With much of the country swept up in intense political fervor heading into the latter half of November, former U.S. President Barack Obama has returned to the spotlight after spending much of the past four years avoiding media attention, as per custom for former Presidents.
Obama, who has also been more active on his social media pages and is even doing sit-down media interviews, is ramping up promotion behind the November 17th publication of his latest autobiographical book, A Promised Land. As a longtime supporter of the arts and American culture organizations, President Obama has once again put together a curated list of noted pop songs that he listened to during his time in office and, likely, in the years since on his vacation playlists.
