Bob Moses Perform Atop Abandoned Radio Tower In ‘Falling Into Focus’ Live Concert Film [Watch]

Bob Moses, the ambient electronic duo from Vancouver comprised of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance (son of acclaimed rock/pop songwriter Jim Vallance), took their music to new heights in their new live concert film, Falling Into Focus.

The one-hour concert performance, which initially took place in October via Twitch livestream, premiered via the duo’s YouTube page on Friday and sees the two musicians performing from high atop an abandoned radio tower in Topanga, CA. The duo doesn’t stay on top of the tower for the entire film, but they do raise eyebrows for their daring attempt to perform their songs from the highest point possible.

The film’s production efforts were reportedly made possible with help from creative agency, CTRL5, whose founder, Owen Brown, describes the new concert film as one that “represents the future of livestream-style content, in that it was made over the course of months to be as thrilling to watch as a concert is to attend. With live music not coming back anytime soon because of the pandemic, my goal was to make something at that standard — and I think we’ve come close.”

The 13 songs performed throughout the film (which is also out today as a live album by the same name) include “Love We Found”, “Desire”, “Hold Me Up”, “Heaven Only Knows), “All I Want”, and “Tearing Me Up” to name a few.

Prior to the shutdown of concert events in North American back in March, Bob Moses were scheduled to appear at a number of 2020 events including California’s Lightning in a Bottle and Florida’s Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival.
