Drive-By Truckers’ Patterson Hood was recently featured on Seattle public radio station KEXP’s Live On KEXP At Home series. The singer-songwriter and guitarist played songs from both of DBT’s 2020 albums, The Unraveling and The New OK, as well as a cover.
Hood starts out the program by talking with host Cheryl Waters about both of those albums before performing the title track and “The Distance” from their most recent, The New OK, which arrived in October. Patterson then plays “21st Century USA” off The Unraveling, which came out in January, before returning to The New OK with “Watching The Orange Clouds.” Hood closes out the session with a cover, The Replacements’ “Left Of The Dial”
