Electron, the experimental jamtronica group comprised of The Disco Biscuits members Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner along with Tom Hamilton (Ghost Light, JRAD), and Mike Greenfield (Lotus), has confirmed their two-night run of holiday jam performances to take place at Philadelphia’s Ardmore Music Hall on December 18th-19th.

The two shows will stream for free via the Ardmore Music Hall YouTube/Facebook channels, in addition to Nugs.net, beginning at 8 p.m. ET, though fans are encouraged to donate what money they can to support the band and the venue. Fans will also be able to download the show’s multi-track audio for $15 or purchase a Virtual Meet & Greet/Signed Poster/Audio Recordings package for $49.

For $5, fans can also enter a raffle for the chance to attend the December 18th show in-person, as these shows will be limited to just 35 people (includes artists and staff) allowed in the venue. All winning attendees and their guests must produce a negative COVID-19 test, and details will be discussed with winners immediately following the raffle drawing on Wednesday, December 2nd.

Electron returned to action over the summer for a pair of fan-less shows on August 7th-8th. The shows were the band’s first time playing together since their atrium set on the final night of Jam Cruise 18. Though no one knew it at the time, Marc Brownstein was essentially half-blind during Electron’s Jam Cruise show. As Brownie explained a few days later, he had begun experiencing a loss of eyesight in his right eye midway through the week-long nautical music event.
