Paul McCartney announced a new release date for his McCartney III solo album, which will now arrive on December 18 via Capitol Records rather than the previously announced December 11 due to “unforeseeable production delays.” Macca also shared a new trailer for the record.
McCartney III follows in the footsteps of 1980’s, McCartney II, and his 1970 solo debut, McCartney, with the multi-talented Paul handling all the instrumentation and recording himself. In the new trailer, McCartney talks about working on his first self-tittled album and the clip includes commentary from his daughter, photographer Mary McCartney, set to an excerpt of the album’s “The Kiss of Venus.”
