Steve Earle is among the additions to the lineup for Love You Madly – A Stream For Santa Cruz Fire Relief. The livestream fundraiser benefiting the Fire Response Fund managed by the Community Foundation Santa Cruz County (CFSCC) will be held this Saturday, December 5 at 7 p.m. PT via nugs.tv.
Other new additions to the Love You Madly lineup include The California Honeydrops, John Doe (of the band X), Y&T, Pete Sears, Con Brio, James Durbin, Good Riddance, Darby Gould & Friends, Wolf Jett (with T Sisters), Andrew St. James, Goodnight Texas (featuring Tim Marcus), Aria DiSalvio, Alwa Gordon and Alecia Haselton. They join a previously revealed lineup featuring The String Cheese Incident, Bonnie Raitt & Boz Scaggs, Sammy Hagar, Kevin Cronin (of REO Speedwagon), Joe Satriani, Los Lobos, Colin Hay, Rogue Wave, Laurie Lewis, T Sisters, Victor Krummenacher, Twiddle and Prairie Prince.
Acclaimed music journalist Ben Fong-Torres, radio personality Bonnie Simmons and Santa Cruz-based journalist Wallace Baine will co-host the event. An online auction will soon launch featuring items including guitars autographed by Hagar and Satriani.
All donations will benefit the Fire Response Fund managed by partner organization Community Foundation Santa Cruz County (CFSCC) and their wildfire recovery efforts. The recent CZU Lightning Complex Wildfire led to the evacuation of 77,000 people over an area of 80,000+ acres with over 900 structures destroyed. Donate directly via CFSCC’s website.
