The National are planning a series of vinyl reissues for some of their earliest studio albums, the alt-rock band announced on Tuesday.
“Twenty years on from the release of our self-titled debut album, we are reissuing The National along with 2003’s Sad Songs For Dirty Lovers and 2004’s Cherry Tree on February 26th, 2021 via 4AD,” the band said in a post shared to their Facebook page. The announcement also confirms the master recordings of all three albums were remastered at Abbey Road Studio and will come with the original artwork on the packaging.
Fans who are members of the band’s Cherry Tree fan club will also have the option to purchase either of the three reissues on special colored vinyl. See below for the specific colored vinyl options for each album.

The National’s last studio album was 2019’s I Am Easy to Find, while singer Matt Berninger recently celebrated the arrival of his own debut studio album, Serpentine Prison, which arrived back on October 2nd via Book Records.
