Umphrey’s McGee shared pro-shot video of Paul McCartney’s “Band On The Run.” The footage comes from UM’s December 29, 2018 concert at The Tabernacle in Atlanta.
Paul McCartney And Wings’ “Band On The Run” appears on their 1973 album of the same name. Umphrey’s debuted the McCartney classic in 2001 and it remained a staple cover throughout 2002 when it was then shelved until 2006. UM played the song sporadically for the rest of the decade ahead of a nearly eight-year drought until the aforementioned 2018 NYE run rendition as per All Things Umphreys.
