Aaron Lee Tasjan has released another new original song which will appear on the Nashville guitarist’s forthcoming studio effort, Tasjan! Tasjan! Tasjan!, due out February 5th via New West Records.

Entitled, “Computer of Love”, the new song arrived on Friday and follows “Sunday Women” and “Up All Night” as the third single as part of his latest album campaign. The easygoing Americana track blends Aaron’s trademark styles of glam and country-rock and is accompanied by a futuristic-inspired music video where Tajan is launched through a wormhole in the galaxy and sent on a colorful adventure where retro-inspired computer technology acts as the main setting. The video was directed by Curtis Wayne Millard, and helps to share a warning of how digital avatars are the real modern-day dangers of our society.

Tasjan explains in a press statement about his latest single,

“Computer Of Love” explores disconnection in the social media age – It’s a surf anthem and I’m talking internet. The ways in which social media and our phones put an emotional barrier between all of us, the search for sex and love in the age of the internet and the way each generation trolls the other generations’ musical choices.

Social media is rich with irony these days. Melania Trump created an anti-online bullying initiative as First Lady. When you consider her husband’s Twitter account, it seems like something doesn’t quite add up? Social media platforms make stars out of people who go out of their way to never consider themselves or the consequences of their actions and it’s been great to see them start to address that in some way, but they of course need to do more and fast?
