Bahamas appeared on CBS This Morning: Saturday Sessions backed by Jason Isbell’s band The 400 Unit. Bahamas’ Afie Jurvanen (listen to a recent JamBase podcast with Jurvanen) performed songs from his 2020 album, Sad Hunk, and more.
The session saw Jurvanen and The 400 Unit — Sadler Vaden on guitar, Jimbo Hart on bass, Derry DeBorja on keyboards and Chad Gamble on drums along with additional guitar from renowned producer Dan Knobler — deliver Sad Hunk single “Trick To Happy” along with the deeper track “Up With The Jones.” Jurvanen and the band also offered up “I Got You Babe” from Bahamas’ 2012 album, Barchords.
