Billy Strings unveiled a video featuring a performance of The Stanley Brothers’ “Think Of What You’ve Done.” The clip, which includes all of Billy’s band, is the first of 12 Strings will roll out daily as part of the String The Halls: Home For The Holidays Edition charity fundraising series.
Strings’ band also features bassist Royal Masat, mandolinist Jarrod Walker and banjo player Billy Failing. Carter Stanley wrote “Think Of What You’ve Done,” which was first recorded by The Stanley Brothers in 1958 for King Records.
Proceeds from String The Halls: Home For The Holidays Edition will go towards the Nashville Rescue Mission, Musically Fed and Second Harvest Food Bank Of Middle Tennessee. Posters are available here with a password revealed in the video.

String The Halls: Home For The Holidays Edition continues each day through Christmas at which point audio of the entire series will be available via nugs.net. Billy and company debuted “Think Of What You’ve Done” at The NorVa in Norfolk, Virginia on November 6, 2019 as per PT Billy Strings. The quartet performed the song again during a livestream concert originating from Nashville’s Station Inn on July 19.
The footage is in black-and-white in keeping with the timeframe in which “Think Of What You’ve Done” was initially recorded by The Stanley Brothers. Watch Billy and his band’s performance of “Think Of What You’ve Done” below:
