Keyboardist Cory Henry, formerly of Snarky Puppy, recorded a pair of holiday songs for the latest installment of NPR Music’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert. Henry is joined by drummer TaRon Lockett for two-song set.
Cory Henry recently released a holiday album entitled Christmas With You. Henry and Lockett performed two originals from the LP at Los Angeles’ Gold—Diggers studio for their Tiny Desk (Home) Concert.
The pair begins with the upbeat “Misty Christmas.” Henry then shares a wish with viewers. “May these songs fill you and your family with joy and happiness as we bring in what will be a far better year than the last. Live in love, live in peace, grow in freedom. Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays,” Cory said before a performance of “Christmas With You.”
