Devon Gilfillian shared a cover of “The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas To You)” via Capitol Records. The Nat King Cole holiday classic follows Gillfilian’s Grammy-nominated 2020 debut album, Black Hole Rainbow, as well as a tribute to Marvin Gaye’s landmark 1971 LP, What’s Going On.
Nat King Cole Trio recorded “The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas To You),” penned by Robert Wells and Mel Tormé, for Capitol Records in 1945. Gilfillian’s version comes bundled with his 2018 holiday single, “Winter Wonderland.”
