Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit Announce New Year’s Eve Stream From Brooklyn Bowl Nashville

120

Jason Isbell will reconvene with his backing band The 400 Unit for a special New Year’s Eve concert at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville, FANS announced on Tuesday. The performance will mark Isbell’s first full-band performance since the Innings Festival in Tempe, AZ on February 29th, 2020.

The announcement comes after Isbell and his wife/bandmate Amanda Shires staged a fair amount of shows throughout the Southeast United States this past fall and even into December. Over the course of several months, the power couple performed at drive-ins and socially-distant pod concerts in Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

The performance will take place on December 31st at 8 p.m. CT and will be available for replay through January 3rd at 11:59 p.m. ET. Fans can also purchase a bundle that includes a ticket to the fan-less, livestreamed concert along with a poster designed by Status Serigraph.

Though Peter Shapiro‘s expansion of the iconic Brooklyn concert venue/bowling alley wasn’t able to open as planned back in March, Isbell and Shires actually opened the hall as its first-ever performers. Back in May, the dynamic duo performed Isbell and the 400 Unit’s then-new album Reunions in its entirety from the Brooklyn Bowl Nashville stage before an empty room.
