Neighbor announced a livestream performance series dubbed Live From Planet Silver which kicks off tonight with a New Year’s Eve performance. The Boston-based rockers will also conduct an online variety show called Tuesday Night Live beginning in January 2021.
The Live From Planet Silver performances will stream every other week beginning on January 8 with an anniversary show and stretching all the way to May 11 while the Tuesday Night Live variety show begins on January 12 and will broadcast on the Tuesdays in between. All told there will be 11 livestream performances and 9 variety shows. The latter will feature “special musical guests, deep dives into the band’s music and lyrics, skits, stories from fans, (perhaps animal handlers?), and a whole lot more,” as per a press release.
Neighbor — keyboardist Richard James (also of Pink Talking Fish), guitarist Lyle Brewer, bassist Dan Kelly and drummer Dean Johnston — is offering a limited number of season passes which include “journals to the fans to write setlists, personal stories, poetry, drawings” and more. Fans can also purchase single streams.
