The Avett Brothers shared performance video of “High Steppin’” for SiriusXM Sessions. The song is from the Avett’s 2019 album, Closer Than Together.
The Avett Brothers 2020 SiriusXM performance of “High Steppin’” follows a full band version of the track which took place from SiriusXM’s New York City studios in late 2019. This time around the Avetts delivered the song remotely in their trio format — which they returned to for their 2020 album The Third Gleam — with Scott Avett on banjo, Seth Avett on guitar and longtime member Bob Crawford on standup bass.
