Iconic New Orleans music venue Tipitina’s has announced the NYE In NOLA concert stream to ring in the new year. The livestream will host five bands from five venues across New Orleans—each one celebrating New Year’s for a different time zone—including Galactic, Anders Osborne, George Porter Jr., and more.
Hosted by beloved Hollywood actor John Goodman, the December 31st stream event will also treat viewers to performances from Samantha Fish, Dumpstaphunk, and Rebirth Brass Band. The event will see additional special appearances from Porter, Kermit Ruffins, and Big Sam & Ani DiFranco.

Each performance will take place from a different independent venue across New Orleans, beginning with Samantha Fish at Chickie Wah Wah. From there, things get regional by time zone as Anders Osborne celebrates New Year’s for the East Coast at d.b.a. After that Galactic rings in 2021 for the Central Time Zone at their very own Tipitina’s, followed by Rebirth Brass Band counting down to midnight in Mountain Time from The Maple Leaf. Finally, Dumpstaphunk brings 2020 to a close for the West Coast from The Howlin’ Wolf.
