10 Mile Music Hall Posts moe. snoe.down Ticket Refund Update

72

10 Mile Music Hall posted a message responding to the cancellation of moe.’s snoe.down 2021 festival that was scheduled to take place at the Frisco, Colorado venue on March 19 – 21. The note from 10 Mile explained the venue’s plans for issuing ticket refunds after the issue was raised in a note shared by moe. earlier this week.

In their statement, moe. asserted the band, “never received any funds from 10 Mile Music Hall, the event’s promoter, and they have not offered to fund the refunds for tickets.” The statement revealed full refunds would be offered for snoe.down tickets purchased through moe.’s Music Today pre-sale and partial refunds would be issued to those who bought tickets from 10 Mile Music Hall’s ticketing outlet, Eventbrite.

As noted by Relix, 10 Mile Music Hall responded to the situation regarding snoe.down ticket refunds in a message posted to the venue’s Facebook page. The venue stated an intention to refund “all tickets in their entirety” once funds are received from the recently passed Save Our Stages Act and 10 Mile’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) appeal.

The first snoe.down since 2013 was originally scheduled for March 2020 but was postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The since-canceled event at 10 Mile Music Hall would have been the first time moe. hosted a snoe.down weekend outside of the Northeast.

Hello All,

We wanted to take a minute and update you on our current refund situation. Moe. released a statement yesterday that might have been misinterpreted to a degree. After announcing the cancellation they mentioned we have not agreed to offer refunds.

This has been interpreted as we don’t plan to offer refunds. We have ALWAYS planned to refund all ticketholders. While we aren’t in a financial position to offer refunds currently we are doing everything in our power to give full refunds as soon as we can. We worked with MOE. Management and their booking agency over the last week and authorized
their booking agency to release the deposit we paid them in February for these shows and be distributed for partial refunds.

We take full responsibility for the additional refunds owed to fans. When the world shut down in March we thought we would be canceling shows for a few weeks and would be producing revenue again by April. Obviously we were way off.

At this point there is no excuse, but again please know that before anything else once funds are available REFUNDS COME FIRST.

Looking forward we are very hopeful with the recent passing of the Save Our Stages act as well as our appeal with EIDL and have every intention
of refunding all tickets in their entirety when the funds become available.

We have always loved Moe., this music scene, the fans and live music in general. It has been heartbreaking to see the amount of hate being thrown our way, we completely understand why, but no less heartbreaking. We hope to get everyone their refund as soon as we are able to.

Thanks

10 Mile
