Miami’s Nu Deco Ensemble will welcome guitarist Cory Wong as a special guest for their first livestream concert of 2021. The pay-per-view livestream concert premieres via Nu Deco’s website this Saturday, January 30 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
Nu Deco’s webcast originates from the North Beach Bandshell in Miami Beach, Florida. The ensemble will perform the music of Chris Rogerson and George Gershwin ahead of their collaboration with Cory Wong. A a new symphonic reimagination of the music from The Beach Boys is also part of the livestream.
“This is going to be extra special because I’ll have my rhythm section with me, and we’ll have the NuDeco Ensemble playing with us performing all new arrangements and even a couple of new songs,” Wong said in a statement. “We feel tremendously honored to provide and share musical experiences that will bring Miami and our world community together to share the enjoyment and excitement of live streamed music,” added Nu Deco co-founder Jacomo Bairos.
Tickets to watch the livestream are on sale now. Those who purchase tickets will be able to access on-demand video of the performance for 72 hours following the live concert.
