Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals and The Soul Rebels & Friends will each perform and participate in live Q&As for Grubhub’s Sound Bites virtual concert series. The livestream special airs this Friday, February 12 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on the JamBase Livestreams Calendar via Grubhub’s YouTube channel.
Grubhub partnered with the acts to celebrate and support Black-owned restaurant communities this Black History Month. Viewers will be asked to comment while the livestream airs with Grubhub contributing $5 per comment to Feed The Soul Foundation up to $100K. The Feed the Soul Foundation “aims to aid marginalized entrepreneurs in the culinary industry with business development resources and support in order to foster sustainable business growth,” as per a press release.
The Soul Rebels will be joined by fellow New Orleans-based musicians Big Freedia, Trombone Shorty and Tarriona “Tank” Ball for their performance. Watch the livestream special below this Friday:
