Blondie have partnered with Z2 Comics for a forthcoming graphic novel that will give a history on the famous rock band.
Announced on Thursday, the forthcoming book marks the latest collaboration between a notable rock band and Z2 comics, which has teamed up for graphic novels inspired by Sturgill Simpson, Grateful Dead, Gorillaz, and The Doors in recent years.
Blondie: Against The Odds Graphic Novel will be out sometime this fall, and will feature what looks to be some impressive illustration from artist John McCrea judging by the first few images shared with the announcement. The book will offer “An imaginative take on an oral history of the band, interspersed with artistic interpretations of 10 songs from their catalog,” a statement on the Z2 website reads. “[The novel] captures the friction of NYC as the band fought their way to prominence, as well as the power and energy contained within the songs that fueled their rise to legendary status.”

The novel’s storyline was co-written by Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti.
The book will be released on standard hard and softcover standard editions, all the way up to a Super Deluxe Limited Edition. Click here for the book’s pre-order info.
