Bob Weir & Wolf Bros will look to celebrate Chinese New Year later this month with a full-band virtual performance from Weir’s TRI Studios on Friday, February 12th.
Announced on Thursday, the band’s New Year celebration ringing in The Year of the Ox will include bassist Don Was and drummer Jay Lane, along with Weir’s Dead & Company bandmate in pianist Jeff Chimenti, and multi-instrumentalist Greg Leisz. The announcement also teased the involvement of special guests “The Wolf Pack,” though it didn’t go into detail as to who that will include.
The New Year performance will air exclusively on FANS beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. In addition to ordering the concert webcast, Deadheads will also have the chance to purchase exclusive merch including commemorative hard tickets, an event t-shirt, and a poster by Justin Helton of Status Serigraph.
Virtual ticket packages start at a manageable $19.99. Click here for webcast ticket info.
