Grateful Dead tribute act Dark Star Orchestra will return to the stage in April for a pair of socially distanced outdoor concerts. DSO are set to play The Caverns Above Ground Amphitheater in Pelham, Tennessee on Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17.
Safety regulations and protocols will be in place due to the pandemic including staggered arrival times, COVID-19 screening questions and temperature checks. The concerts are currently expected to be DSO’s first shows of 2021.
Today’s announcement comes one day after Dark Star Orchestra revealed this year’s Dark Star Jubilee festival has been canceled. Instead, the group will present Dark Star Jubliation, two socially distanced pod-style concerts at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio on May 28 and 29.
Tickets for DSO’s shows at The Caverns Above Ground Amphitheater go on sale this Friday, February 19 at 12 p.m. ET via Eventbrite (April 16, April 17).
