lespecial will pay tribute to Primus during the upcoming lespecial plays Frizzle Fry livestream. The free virtual concert, set for (Frizzle) Friday, March 12th at 8 p.m. ET, will see the band perform Primus’ Frizzle Fry in its entirety.

Released in 1990, Primus’ debut album Frizzle Fry helped establish the Les Claypool-led trio’s nu-metal sound that would dominate the 1990s rock landscape. With instant classics like “Too Many Puppies”, “John The Fisherman”, “Mr. Knowitall”, and more, Frizzle Fry helped introduce a generation of young listeners and budding musicians to the wacky world of Primus.

Presented by Vermont brewery Stowe Ciderlespecial plays Frizzle Fry comes as the band’s latest livestream effort since the Ancient Homies NYE Future Blast Off that kicked off 2021. That show saw the band utilize immersive 360° virtual reality audiovisual technology as well as four LED video walls to deliver a unique streaming experience.
