The Motet Announces April 2021 Socially Distanced Concerts In Denver

76

Colorado’s own The Motet will soon return to the stage for the first time since the pandemic began. The Motet will play two socially distanced concerts each night on Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24 at Cervantes in Denver.

Much has changed for The Motet over the past year. The band parted ways with Lyle Divinsky & Parris Fleming last fall. All four shows in April will find The Motet focusing solely on instrumentals.

“These unique instrumental shows will be a chance to stretch out musically, and bring to life some of the new songs we’ve been working on in the studio,” The Motet noted in a statement. A new song titled “False Prophets” was released by The Motet in October and was followed by a cover of The Whispers’ “And The Beat Goes On” featuring Lettuce’s Nigel Hall earlier this month.

Tickets for all four concerts go on sale this Friday, February 19 at 10 a.m. ET via eTix (4/23 Early Show, 4/23 Late Show, 4/24 Early Show, 4/24 Late Show). Details on safety protocols in place are laid out on the ticketing pages.
