Canadian musician The Weeknd rescheduled a world tour in support of After Hours to 2022 and added 39 new tour dates to the trek. The Weeknd was originally set to embark on the After Hours tour in 2020 and then postponed the run to 2021 in the wake of the pandemic before now setting the excursion to span January 14 – November 16, 2022.

The announcement comes just ahead of The Weeknd’s performance at halftime of this Sunday’s Super Bowl. He also revealed a new compilation entitled The Highlights will be released this Friday, February 5.

The Weeknd kicks off the run on January 14 and 15, 2022 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Dates in January 2022 also include stops in Edmonton, Winnipeg, St. Paul, Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Then, in February 2020, The Weeknd focuses on the Northeast after two nights in Toronto before heading to the West Coast after visits to North Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, Colorado and Utah.

March 2022 will see The Weeknd head down the West Coast and then play a handful of dates in Florida following performances in Arizona and Texas. Tour stops on both coasts are planned for an April that also includes visits to Toronto, St. Louis, Omaha, Austin, San Antonio and Las Vegas. The Weeknd concludes the North American leg at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington on May 1. He’ll return to the road in September for an extensive tour of Europe and the UK that is currently scheduled to wrap up in London on November 16, 2022.

All tickets for the original dates will be honored at the corresponding 2022 dates. Tickets for the new additions to the tour go on sale Monday, February 8 at 10 a.m. local time.
