On October 25, 2019, Spafford kicked off a two-night run at the Ogden Theatre with a set in which they strung together covers previously debuted as part of Halloween shows. Spafford recently shared pro-shot video featuring their instrumental rendition of Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” from the special frame.
Dion released the chart-topping “My Heart Will Go On” in 1997 on the soundtrack from Titanic. Spafford opened their Halloween 2015 concert at Last Exit Live in Phoenix with their debut “My Heart Will Go On” cover.
The band revisited “My Heart Will Go On” as part of the first set in Denver after opening with John Carpenter’s “Halloween Theme” and Koji Kondo’s “Legend Of Zelda.” Spafford had gone 321 shows between “My Heart Will Go On” plays as per Spaffnerds.com. Fans belted out the lyrics while Spafford delivered an instrumental rendition that climaxed with a shreddy solo from guitarist Brian Moss.
