Trampled By Turtles concludes their “Trampled By Thursdays: Live At First Avenue” livestream series this Thursday, February 25 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT via Mandolin. Last week’s livestream was themed “The Pachyderm Sessions” and included a performance of “Annihilate” for which the band shared official video.
Each of the four “Trampled By Thursdays: Live At First Avenue” were filmed at the historic Minneapolis venue. “The Pachyderm Sessions” saw the group mix tracks from 2018’s Life Is Good On The Open Road with tunes off their 2014 LP, Wild Animals. Both albums were recorded at nearby Pachyderm Studios.
“Annihilate” appears on Life Is Good On The Open Road, the band’s most recent studio album. The 12-track LP was Trampled By Turtles first since Wild Animals and followed a hiatus from touring in which band members focused on solo projects.
“Trampled By Thursdays: Live At First Avenue” ends this week with an “Old School” themed livestream concert. Watch “Annihilate” from “The Pachyderm Sessions” below:
