4848 Festival organizers postponed this year’s festival to Labor Day Weekend due to the pandemic. The event, which was originally scheduled for July 8 – 10, will be held at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Snowshoe, West Virginia September 3 – 5, 2021.
Greensky Bluegrass will play two nights at 4848 Festival 2021. Many additional acts will be announced soon, a number of whom were part of the 2020 lineup.
“There appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel and as we begin to see things open up, we remain optimistic and want to be certain that we can host the best and safest festival possible,” said festival organizers All Good Presents in a statement. “As of March 3, the West Virginia Governor lifted some restrictions on schools, restaurants and small businesses but when it came to fairs and festivals, he said ‘we will clarify guidelines as we get closer.’ With the uncertainty of when these guidelines may roll out and how they may or may not affect the event, we have decided to move 4848 Festival to Labor Day Weekend. We are trying to move us all closer to certainty.”
Tickets and room packages for the previously announced dates will be honored in September. Refunds are available through April 1 for ticketholders who cannot attend the new dates.
