Dark Star Orchestra Adds 3rd May 2021 Concert In Maryland

Dark Star Orchestra expanded an upcoming run of concerts at Frederick, Maryland’s Showtime At The Drive In. The Grateful Dead tribute act previously announced socially distanced outdoor concerts in Frederick on May 14 and 15. Today, DSO added a third show on Sunday, May 16.

“We can’t wait to play for you in 2021!” reads a note from the band. “These shows are adhering to the venue’s safety protocols including the requirement for all guests and all staff to wear masks at all times when outside of their vehicles, among other safety measures. Let’s all celebrate safely!”

Tickets for Dark Star Orchestra’s Sunday performance at Showtime At The Drive In are on sale now via Universe. While the Saturday show has sold out, limited tickets remain for Friday, May 14.

First up for DSO are socially distanced April outdoor concerts in Birmingham, Alabama and Pelham, Tennessee. The group will return to Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio over Memorial Day Weekend for Dark Star Jubilation, a series of pod-based concerts replacing Dark Star Jubilee.
